CGE is an important biolipid (alkyl glyceryl ether) that is originally found in human breast milk and marine animals. Actera has recreated CGE using entirely vegan components, glycerin, and vegetable oil. So unlike current natural preservatives such as Glyceryl Caprylate (GMCY), our CGE biolipid won’t hydrolyze, degrade, and become deactivated.
